President of the Sino-American Friendship Association (SAFA) Peter Zhang, along with prominent members of the SAFA Committee of Medical Collaboration, joined Mr. Baoyan Liu, President of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), and the accompanying WFAS delegation for a respectful visit to Mr. Junhua Li, the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations, and Lily Gery, the Senior Liaison officer at the UNESCO New York Office.

The WFAS delegation presented an overview of their recent works and expressed their desire to receive guidance from the UN and UNESCO on enhancing their efforts towards achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
