"East or West, Guangxi is the Best" Culture and Tourism Exhibition and Promotion at UN Headquarters in NY
NEW YORK, NY, Friday, Aug 10, 2018: "East or West, Guangxi is the Best" Guangxi China Culture and Tourism Exhibition and Promotion Event hosted by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Sino-American Friendship Association was successfully held at the United Nations Headquarters. More than 150 guests attended the event, including Bin Li, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Jin Qian, Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York; Remysell Salas, Manhattan Director of New York City Office of the Mayor; Lin Gan, Director of the Tourism Development Commission of Guangxi; Peter Zhang, President of the Sino-American Friendship Association; Jianguo Ma, Chief of UN Bureau, Xinhua News Agency, Vice Chairman of UN Correspondent Association; Xiaopeng Pan, Deputy Director of China National Tourist Office in New York; UN officials; executives and professionals in great New York.
New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio and Congresswoman Grace Meng sent letters of congratulations with Governor Cuomo noting: “Over the years, our state and respective countries have benefited from mutually rewarding associations with the various regions of China, such as the beautiful and historic Guangxi region - known for its abundance of natural resources and growing commercial base. I hope this occasion will promote friendly accord and open new channels of communication among those in attendance.”
